****LATHE HAS BEEN SOLD****

Hi,

I am looking at selling my Sherline mini lathe.
It is is almost new condition with just a few hours of use on it.
Fully loaded with tooling and accessories.
This is what is included with the lathe:

Sherline Lathe model 4410A - 24" metric lathe ( 17" between centres)
This is a package and comes standard with:
3 jaw scroll chuck, 3/8" Jacobs drill chuck, MT0 and MT1 Arbor and draw bar. Lathe dog and face plate
It also has the extra option of the Zero Adjustable handwheels on all axes!

The extra accessories are:
2.5" 4 jaw scroll chuck BNIB
Thread cutting attachment BNIB
Steady rest BNIB
Compound slide BNIB
HSS cut off blade and holder
Rocker tool post
Tool height gauge
Wood turning tool rests
5 Pc carbide cutter set
Dead centre
Extra T-Nuts
3pc Centre drills
Sherline original dust cover
Will also come with original shipping box.

Some of the items are marked with BNIB which stands for BRAND NEW IN BOX.
I have opened them and taken a look but have never used them.
The original cost of the lathe and accessories is over $2000.
I would love to get about $1500 O.B.O.
Also open to trades for bigger lathes.
Let me know what you have and we can maybe make a deal!

The only flaw on the lathe is a tiny chip out of the cross slide that does not affect the lathe in any way.
See the pictures for the lathes condition!

I am located in South Western Ontario, Canada.
Will ship, but i am sure it would cost quite a bit since it is a heavy piece of equipment.

Pm me for more info!

Thanks,

Andrew

If the price is too high, let me know and we can work something out!

It is an excellent piece of equipment that will make someone very happy!

Andrew

Hi Andrew,

I have interest, but I am from Brazil. I believe that the shipping cost is not the problem. Only the cost of import taxes in Brazil, maybe sending a gift from person to person may exempt the tax.

When do you bought this lathe ?

Thanks,

Alexandre

Hi Alexandre,

I thought i posted a reply, but i must have hit the wrong key...

I bought the lathe about a year ago and if it has 10 hours of total use on it i would be surprised.
If you can find out the taxes and they are acceptable to you, we can work something out.

I will need to know how you would like it shipped to Brazil.
I would think a courier would be best as you will be able to track the parcel.
Sending it as a gift is also no problem!
Anything to help you save money!

Let me know what your thoughts are on this.

Thanks,

Andrew

Andrew,

Please, let me know the reference code of the all accessories included, the quantity of volume and the weigh of each volume. Your zip code too, because I will research the cost courier services at FedEx and UPS.

Do you would accept PayPal for the payment ?

Thank You,

Alexandre

Alexandre,

I will get all the codes for you from the Sherline website.
When i get home tonight i will measure the box and weigh everything and let you know the total.

Paypal will work, no problem.

Thanks,

Andrew

Okay Andrew,

I sent an email to you... is better!

Take care,

Alexandre

Just in case things go sour with the sale of this item i will put up the lathe for sale for the same price i am selling it at now.

$1500 was a bit ambitious, judging by prices they sell them for now.
The new price is $1000 for the lathe and all accessories.
This is Canadian Dollars just in case there is any confusion!
A good price for a quality lathe and lots of accessories to get you going!

Andrew

Absolutely sold !

Now I'm waiting for it arrives here in Brazil.

I'm happy ... this is the first machine that I buy for my workshop.

;D

Alexandre

A sherline is a very good choice. Very good quality.

I know first hand, I own 2 sherline lathes and a sherline mill.

take care,

tom

I am very happy for you Alexandre! Let's make some chips!

Dave

Congrats Alexandre. That Sherline is a nice little lathe and you'll be able to make some cool stuff with it!

Both Alexandre and myself are watching the lathes progress through the tracking number!
With a bit of luck it should be there sometime in the first week of February!!

Then it is SWARF time!!!!

Andrew

The lathe is nearly in it's new home!!!
With all the questionable items being imported, for example bombs hidden inside printers, it took a bit longer than expected....

Alexandre should be setting it up this week sometime!!!
It has been a long trip to reach it's new home!

Andrew

WooHoo! I'm glad to see a long distance deal like this end happily!

:big: :big: :big:THE EAGLE HAS LANDED!!!!! :big: :big: :big:

Alexandre has the lathe and it is all in one piece!!
He is very happy with everything!! ;D

I am now waiting to see the swarf fly all over his apartment!!!!

Andrew

Yes!!!

My first lathe arrived today !

Thank you very much my friend Andrew.

My home workshop is begining and I am very happy with my new toy!

Alexandre

Really glad to hear this! WE WANT SWARF PICTURES!!!!!! ;D
