I know that most of you people already know this, but just in case I will tell it any ways. Today I needed 4 little 4-40 x .50" socket cap screws and made a trip to our little Ace Hardware store that carries a GREAT selection of hardware. BUT those 4 little screws cost me $2.00!! When I got home I sat down and ordered a supply of various sizes from Enco. The 4-40's from Enco was $3.04 per 100. If you use their monthly free shipping code for orders of $50 or more, Life Is Good! Also ordered a 24 compartment steel box to keep that sort of things in. This little engine thing is costing me a few bucks to get going on, But I LIKE IT!

Thanks Lugnut. I think each engine I built has cost over $200.00. By the time I buy the metal and hardware. Then the tooling. Then make the jigs. I have yet to find a cheap hobby.
