I received a Email today to the effect that Dave G has passed away.
Some of you may remember he designed my Rattler, a unique Gearless Hit and Miss single that remains the best running Engine in my collection.
A Father, Grandfather and Builder of Wonderful, wonderful things.
He will be Missed.

Its sad to know that an engine enthusiat just died. Some of us are in our 60s,70s,80s and even 90s. And soon some of us too will be in happy hunting ground building model engines.

I'm very sorry to know that Dave is gone. He was a skilled machinist as well as a cheerful and helpful person.
