Well, for a "rookie", I think you are off to great start. Nice work!

This reminds me of a project I did back in high school (not knocking this by any stretch!) where we had to make a fan out of sheet metal and balance it. Actually it was a chore to get right, and it gave me a whole new appreciation to the guys who fabricate these things for a living. There were some frustrating moments on that one assignment for sure.

Nice sheet metal work! Do you have a engine to run it yet?
 
I have a Birish and peters olds that I have had for a few years plus another birsh hired man that is not completed yet. Also I have and am working on a mill engine made from bar stock by Ray Hasbroucks.(www.hasbrouck.8m.com) I Highly reccommend his plans, well drawn.
