RC carb source

Just passing on an FYI. I recently went internet shopping for an appropriate RC (methanol glow) carburetor for the 5-cyl radial engine I'm building. Some of the brand name ones like OS are getting up there in price. I'm pretty confident about venturi size selection, but just in case I have to go up or down, I didn't want to drop 80 USD + shipping to Canuckistan.

Anyway, I found this seller on AliExpress. Shipping was reasonably quick & price was right. I have not run it but the quality v price seems like good value on initial inspection. Strangely, HobbyKing (international) must have had a raid on carbs because virtually everything was out of stock or back-ordered with no ETA.

Another excellent carb source is http://www.perrypumps.com/ They have any size carb venturi you want. The carbs are all two needle with separate high speed and idle speed mixture adjustments. There is also a large selection of fuel system accessories as well. The company has been around for years and their products are popular in the RC model community. I have used them with satisfaction.
