Hello Rick and everybody. I just joined the HMEM forum and stumbled upon the Ford Kitchen Sink Engine. I saw the Penn State repop of this engine run at Greenfield Village during the annual Old Cars Festival a couple of years ago and vowed to build one of my own. Well, retired now and beginning to accumulate materials for the build and ran across HMEM while researching this engine. One question I have already is on the mixer. I see the oiler used as a fuel tank and metering device and the check valve which acts as an atmospheric intake valve. But how is air introduced into the intake? I see no provision for atomization here so any help exposing the obvious would be appreciated. I also see that this engine was featured in a past issue of Home Shop Machinist. Which issue, or does anyone have a copy of the article?
