Thanks guys, this was the 3rd engine I've ever built but the 1st I designed and drew in CAD so I was pretty happy that it actually worked out. I was inspired by some videos on the internet of rotary engines and wanted to understand better how they worked so I built this.

I was blown away that it got chosen for the project of the month, I don't feel I deserve it, I've seen the impressive work many of the members on this site have produced and I don't feel my projects even come close. Now... what to build next....

Edit: Also I like this video better because it doesn't have that obnoxious air noise the first one did.

Have you thought about mounting it to a base that acts like a resonator to amplify the engine sound? Maybe a hollow box? The video from underneath shows the sound of the engine nicely. Of course it may already sound like that in person just the video doesn't show it up all that well.
