Wow that's a really nice engine Crueby, I love the sound it makes. It seems to run smoothly quite slow.

Very nice! Slow running is the standard to shoot for. Given enough pressure, you can get just about anything to run. Like this a lot.

Congratulations Crueby. Well deserved for this little beauty.

Thanks much - it was a fun one to build, am currently working out the details on its much bigger brother, a twin-beam double acting engine with two cylinder, 1" bores, 2" stroke, 12" long beams, and watt linkages on the pistons. Am going to make that one a fancier style, with more decoration in the parts. I am finishing up a model/carving project now, and will probably start the bigger engine in about a month. Hope it runs as well as this one did, this is the slowest runner I ever did - which was a surprise given how small the valve assembly is - had to do some of the milling on the valve slide with the tip of a small center drill!
