Problem with Login.

To the Experts!! Ha Ha.
Problem on Login!
The Site works fine with out "Login".
When I Login, the site disappears and I have a white screen .
Then I have to go back to my Bookmark, click on this site and the site comes
up in in the Home window with me being loged in.

I am using Fire Fox on my computer. Did so since the beginning.

In the past I could "Login" and if I where on a Post It would jump back to it.
See what you guys com up with.

I use Firefox at work and it does the same thing. I, however, just click on my refresh button and it instantly brings up the page like you describe. It sometimes does the same thing when I reply to a post. Could be a Firefox quirk with certain forum software versions? It seems harmless though if a bit bothersome

I use Firefox exclusively. This is a new issue report for me.
I will look into it immediately!

I use Firefox and have not experienced this problem but FFhelp suggests it could be related to Google logins and Gmail.

The only time I've noticed this is when there is a PM waitingwhen I log on and I get the option to "Open in new window", when I return to the original screen it is blank, but, "Refresh" restores everything to normal. I'm using Firefox 3.5.2

I use the 3.5.2.also and have had no such problem.

I had 3.0 some thing , and the problem was there.
Now I have 3.5.2 and the problem is still there.
What ever it is , it must have shown up in the last 2 weeks.

I just noticed: when I log out the white screen also comes up. Did not before.

"An Error Has Occurred!
Session verification failed. Please try logging out and back in again, and then try again.""

That came up after I logout .

It is looking like a security setting conflict to me Hilmar.

The avatars, some of the pictures and most of the videos here
would be considered "Active Content". A browser, anti virus program
or computer security setting that is set too high will cause those issues.

Funnily enough stickpoke

Yesterday and today I noticed all sorts of silly problems with both this forum and two others ........ they all use the same software, (another one with different software was unaffected)

anyway ......

1) Took several tries to login, had to restart Firefox a couple of times
2) Logging out was the same, nothing happened (apparently), shut down Firefox and restarted it to find I was logged out ???
3) Viewing "Posts since last visit" ........... having looked at a few, refresh to clear the viewed ones ........ nothing happens .....

etc, etc .......

Did a search, ended up on the Firefox forum .......... blimey ......... now that's geeky scary

after reading a while I reinstalled Firefox .............. no change, read a bit more ............ most likely an "Add On" ....... :noidea: ............ I installed Skype last night ........... so disabled it and all is well in the (FF) world :shrug:
