Here is the engine cleaned up and ready for the shows!
This was the most challenging of my engine builds to date.
it has a lot of very small parts (especially in the hit and miss mechanism).
A lot of fiddling and adjustments were needed to get it to run properly.
Now on to the next project!

@cheepo45, GREAT JOB on the build!
@minh-thanh, That's the inertia governor arm. It latches with a catch on the exhaust rocker to hold the exhaust valve open for the idle strokes. For the horizontal version of the engine, gravity helps to hold the arm down as a roller descends into a divot in the exhaust pushrod. For the vertical, a small spring at the base of the arm holds it against the rest of the governor parts. The vertical is more difficult to set up as two springs need to be balanced for the governor to work properly. If you replay the video in slow motion, you can see the engine latching in and out for the hit and miss strokes.
See the attached drawing for a better description as to how it works.

WOW ! Excellent build cheapo45 and excellent kit (and more) from Little Locos.
The video is great and the engine has a bizarre sound with the hit and miss cycle. The drop cloth background in the video and for the detail pictures is helpful. (My workbench looks like yours, he he, but who cares?)
I have always more-or-less glanced over the hit and miss engines because I didn't really understand them and never wanted to take the time to learn. This helps a lot, but I still don't really understand them......maybe eventually.
