It's an age thing. They say the memory is the second thing to go and
I'll be damned if I can remember what the first thing was.

We need 3 nominations for the October Project of the Month.

I Nominate Engine Makers Farm boy Engine.
Not only is it a wonderful looking engine, I think it would be a Tribute To Jerry Howell who has contrubuted so much to the hobby of being a Home Model Engine Machinist.

I know that I have several sets of Plans from Jerry that I will build someday. I also know that the Farm Boy plans were to be my next purchase from him, and I hope that his work will be continued by his family so that future generations of HMEM's can benefit from his design excellance.

How's this for a tough choice? To take nothing from the other nominees, I'm partial to beam engine designs, and I would like to nominate Orrin's fine work for the EOM award. All of the three are all well done and deserving of praise. Well done fella's :bow:

Thanks for the nomination Philly, I am indeed honoured. To be nominated once is an achievement but twice, I'm speechless. Its a privilege to be among such superb models as made by Engine maker and Orrin.
