I make and sell products for measuring thread pitch diameter and my website has a great deal of information re threads. Of course I can answer many thread questions (re types and tolerances) without using something from my website as a reference but if I do will this be regarded as "spamming"? I'd never post a link unless it was relevant to answering a question.

I also have YouTube videos re thread measuring.

I found this forum while Googling for thread info and, as I know quite a bit about almost all thread types and tolerances, thought I might be able to help some.
Looking at this link (with 4 Youtube videos) might be a good start. The 3 of the videos are mine.
