Don't know what this...at first I thought it was a milling bit for my UNIMAT, but not so.

No maker's markings or part numbers..

I have a milling attachment made by taig that is similar in every way. The only difference is that two of them are put together. My guess is that the alum. Joining piece is to offer y and. Z movement. And x in certain situations. Is actually a really good idea that I would like to have on mine.
On other Taig models there is a alum. block mounted on back to mount to the crossslide of most lathes.

No mystery, it's a Taig. I own one. What that is specifically is the top of the table for the lathe, and the compound angle cross slide you can buy. If you want more info it's pretty easy to find by searching Taig Lathe.
