Hi Everyone !
This Boy is my new engine project. Finaly finished and documented :)
Parameters are:
Bore 19mm
Stroke 17mm
volume 4,82cc or .29 cu.in
Tested on prop MA 9x4
Fuel FAI 74/26
Plug hot

Very nice. What materials did you use for the piston and sleeve?

Liner is made from scrap mild steel shaft and piston is out of cast iron "puck".

Cast iron pistons in steel cylinders were once the most common model engine materials. The engines that come to mind are the Fox 35 and their combat specials. Others were the early OS Max engines. I think it's still a combination that's easiest to lap into a good fit for model engines. Aluminum pistons in chromed sleeves have replaced the combination in performance engines. Ringed aluminum pistons were an intermediate step.
