Hi Guys
Anyone out there that can recommend a magizine devoted to model engine building. I have been looking at "Engineers And Engines" and "Gas Engine Mag". They both look like interesting reading but more towards big engines and tractors.
Any suggestions?
Thanks Bob

The only magazine that I know of which is still being published is Model Engine Builder:

http://www.modelenginebuilder.com/

It's published every two months, more or less, is dedicated to internal combustion models and has featured quite a variety of engines. There have also been lots of good articles on tips and tricks, and other model gas engine related topics such as ignition, valves, and so on.

If you watch eBay, there are back issues of other magazines periodically (pardon the pun) which featured model engines. Modeltec and Live Steam have quite a few engine building articles, including steam, stirling, and flame licker (atmospheric or vacuum) engines.

You can also buy back issues of Strictly IC from their website although they are not currently publishing new issues:

Are there any particular kinds of engines you are interested in building?

Chuck
