Millwrite CadCam

After searching for 2 years I found a program that will allow me to make actual cad geometry from True Type Fonts and save them as a *.DXF file. Millwrite 6.0 is a CadCam package that is free to download & use. Millwrite has several fonts and is very user friendly. This allows me to engrave with many different fonts with my Accrite Millpwr CNC machine. ;D

Good program, at least the older version. I use it at work, probably once or twice a week for 12 years now. It really does work as a basic 2D CAD, too.

The new version sounds like they've added some features... .WAV to .MP3 conversion?? ???

Another option for text is DeskEngrave http://www.deskam.com/download.html. Use TrueType fonts and offers text along an arc as well as straight. Output is either DXF or g-code. And it's free.

The problem with Deskam is I can't open the dxf file in AutoCad LT to make any edits to it.
