Hi people,

wish to find metric brass tubes of 1mm wall thickness in. diam. 2 out. diam. 4 and in. diam. 3 mm and out. diam. 5 mm.
(Did I manage to perplex you ?)
Anybody knows where could I find them ?

Thanks,

George

George,
With my experience of buying on the mainland Europe, 1mm wall thickness might be a bit of a tall order, normally it is supplied in 0.5mm wall thickness, thus allowing each full mm size to slide into the next one up/down. Maybe you could try specialist non ferrous suppliers because I don't think you will find it in hobby or model supplies.
Thick wall brass like that is usually used for making plumbing items like immersion heater thermocouple tubes and electric shower boilers. This is where I obtain my bits of thick walled brass tube from, but you have to be careful as some can be rather brittle due to de-zincing.

Sorry I can not be more helpful.

Macc Models is my local, and wouldn't touch them with a 20ft sharp pointed stick.
Four months and still waiting for a standard sized 'o' ring to be delivered, despite numerous phone calls.

Thanks all for kind response.

John, contrary to your experience, I had had excellent service even though in Greece...
