I need a non-critical Stainless Steel part that would require a large piece of stock if it was made from a subtractive process. I'm looking for metal 3d print service recommendations. The part would be about 4x2x4 inches. I have seen some of the amazing work this sites members have shared, some of which incorporate parted parts. Any insight would be appreciated.

I had good luck with Shapeways for a bronze/steel part. They make 316 stainless using the same binder jetting process. My art showed layer lines that were easily sanded off.

Below is the part. I believe it cost about $40. Yoiu send in a 3D model of your part and they give you an estimate. The tube part was fine and accurate, but the fin was printed flat and had a layered surface. I sanded it and it turned out very nice.
