I have the training manuals for both mill and lathe aswell as the user notes.

starting off with the Mill.
I am stuck on page 1-6 of tutorial 1.
which is 3.3 " creat the arcs knowing the center point and the radius/diameter"

the book is asking me to select the fast point icon and enter the coordinates: 0.56+3.5,-1.5
this will automatically put in a circle in the part (at those coordinates).
but when I do this nothing happens, its frustrating :big:

its hard to explain, but hopefully someone has the book themselves and can look it over.

Hi Michael,
I don't have the manuals, but check that you have first selected the "arc" tool, and that you have the arc tool you want. From memory, there are several arc tools, start pt, center, end pt; start pt, end pt, center (note the difference here!); 2-points, radius; 3-points; and so on. Not sure which tool you need from the info given; just play around with the various arc tools, trying to understand the differences between them. They are subtle, but important!
