Oh yeah, you have Geckos and they have the signal processing magic already built into them and don't need a separate little board for indexing, right?
I was amazed to see how slow 60 rpm really is. I just knew there was something wrong with my setup. I drug out my stopwatch, set the rpm to 60 and proceeded to count the revolutions of a piece of tape stuck onto the chuck. I clicked the stopwatch at 60 sec. just as the tape hit the starting point exactly at the count of 60. Amazing.
