Can't help on your indicator but had to comment on the fact that your digital camera is even capable of being set to display the date as some time in 1956!!

Never seen anything like it. However it looks like a long travel dial indicator, with coaxial hands. Interesting design really, but this is the first time I've seen anything like it.
