Hello guys!
let me introduce myself: my name is Rodrigo, i´m from Mexico city, i´m a luthier (electric one
, and i got a mini lathe 7x10 two years ago... having no idea about how to use it, i spend a lot of time watching youtube videos and i catch a little information.
i love free flight models, being in Mexico, diesel engines were unknown for me until i found some Valic (Peter Valicec videos) he become my friend and a teacher, as he know a lot about diesel engines and machining skills.
here some of my lathe projects:
Im in a deal to get an used mini mill machine this weekend and see if i´m able to build my own engine... i already printed 2 sets of plans; one for the Boll Aero 1.8 and the Midget 0.8. hope my tools and skills will be enough.... i found nice threads and people here!
