hi

howells V4
sheet #61 of jerrys drawings show rotor disc with magnets offset by 40 not 45 degrees, however when timing set to top dead No 1 cylinder, No 2 &4 cylinder fires 5 degrees early. am saying it should be 45 not 40 degrees as am not getting the magnets to repulse each other at 40 degrees and correct out to 45 degrees.
am i missing some thing, ????
have tried every which way and get this every time after many weeks of head scratching

thanks. used sketchup to profile 40 degrees and 45 degrees, not sold on spark advance but keeping my mind open. not getting magnet repusling so 40 degree does not work, just don't understand why he has it on drawing and noted with explanation as well. will machine new magnet rotor to 45 and take from there
