Hi all,
having made a few posts now I have routinely attached pictures to the end of posts with few problems however the ability to embed pics. within the textual content seems to make more sense. I have attempted to use the "insert image" icon from the composing tool bar but have had no success. my question is ,what goes between the [img/] the name/location of the file? I have tried the "full path" + file name method with no success. Where am I going wrong?
TIA

You need to upload your photos to a free photo hosting server such as http://photobucket.com/

Once the photos are uploaded to your free account, just copy the IMG code that appears when you
mouse over the thumbnail image on the photobucket page.

Paste that IMG code into your post and the photo will appear when you preview or submit the post.

Thanks Rick for the prompt reply
I will try it out tomorrow when I will have a little more time!
kindest regards

Here's an example of the code one copies from photobucket...

Code:
[IMG]http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j234/mklotz/SORT1.jpg[/IMG]

which causes this picture...

SORT1.jpg

to be embedded into the post when I insert it into the running text.

Many thanks Marv
I realized that HTML/http input was required but unaware from whence it was to come. I have created a Photobucket acc. and uploaded a couple of images and will now try and embed one of them in this post.
Incidentally whilst setting up My new mill I am taking the step at this early stage of making a set of your recently posted "setting bars"? as well as some of your RT add ons.
