Bought this recently - it is a really beautifully built engine - way above amateur status. It is a Spark Ignition motor, however if and when l get it going l will run it as a glow motor. It has evidence of being run quite a bit - as an air-cooled marine engine. There was quite a bit of old hard oil residue on the case.

Internally it is very interesting, the crankshaft is made up of 3 pieces, a nose shaft, a rear shaft and an interlink device that appears to not only have bolts that act like cotter pins but l think also serve to pinch onto the crankpin ends to help stabilize it.

So if anyone does know what it is - would sure appreciate it. Currently in the process of restoring it. Mostly complete except for some bolts / nuts / part of the needle valve / and 1 cylinder head. The guy l got it off made one at school year 8 35 years ago but never finished it. I will make a new one replicating the 1 original one left.

It is around .61 size - l measured it as 10.1 cc for the 2 cylinders. Bore is .740" stroke .720" and before pulling it apart it turned over very nicely.

It looks very similar to the "Westbury 10cc flat twin cylinder"
