After a very long time, the wheels are done. A very big learning curve, The first (front wheel) ended up in the scrap bin after brazing the spokes. Despite great care with positioning and measuring and clamping to get all centred etc. it may have been a heat related issue along with dissimilar metals. Hence the second attempt with threaded outer ends. Worked well.
What I have learnt so far is the sequence of manufacture is more important than the skill set of the maker.
So now back to a refresher course and closely read and watch the posts of others before going any further.
