Been reading for a while and figured it was time to introduce myself. I am a high school student from California. I recently finished assembling a twin cylinder steam engine(1/2" bore, 5/8" stroke) and I would like to jump into the machining of some engines(much simpler to start), as well as a boiler. I have a full woodshop conveniently located at my house, but the metalworking equipment is just a Clausing lathe and welding/cutting equipment. If anyone can point me in the direction of some boiler designs as well as fittings that are not too large nor complicated but can still power this engine, that would be great. The use of 2" copper pipe for the main body would be nice because I have that and would rather not have to buy a whole length of something bigger.
