I am a retired Dental Tech. One year now. How did I ever find time to work. I like working with my hands and creating things. I do a lot of woodworking and have always been interested in mechanical things. Thru work I used a Unimat lathe to create some special brass pins. This led me to do a small wobbler engine, then a double cylinder. Lathe wasn't big enough so I found a 1939 South Bend 9 Lathe. Stripped, cleaned, repaired and refinished it. Works great for an old tool, kinda like me! This past winter I started a Red Wing Hit and Miss. It turned out great, but is not running yet. This site has some great ideas and projects I have learned a lot and will learn more. I haven't found this winters project, but have all summer to decide. Thanks for a great site.

And welcome from the land down under
