I just joined up here as a long time hobby machinist who had taken a little time off to get into other things. I had a Reeves Mary in the desk drawer for 10 years of so, and am now working on that, well, was till Christmas when I found under the tree a Briesch Duplex steam pump. So, I now have a bunch of check valves made for that, but need to get back to Mary. Thing is, Mary might have to wait for me to build that 327 for the '54 Chevy 3/4 ton. She runs fine now, but slow, so more engine with an overdrive should do it well.
I saw in the want adds here a brass/bronze casting set for a Panther Pup which made me sign up to see if it's still around - no answer so far.
So, machining, old cars, old trucks, old Oliver crawlers (OC46) and reading Philosophy are my interests~
