Welcome to the forum.
Your English is way better than my German 😁
It’s good to see young people taking an interest in engineering and steam railways.

Ferdinand,

Welcome to the group. Your English is very good.

Please tell us about your Simplex locomotive as you restore it. I've never built a steam locomotive, but I've always liked the look of the Simplex.

Regards,

Chuck

Welcome Ferdinand at one of the best forum I ever found on web. Your final education will be "Instandhaltungsmechaniker" and you are learning 3 1/2 year for that skill? I am asking because I got my my first professional education at the DB 42 years ago at the Bundesbahn Ausbesserungswerk Opladen.
I was part of a team who made a E103 Model 1:20 for the technic museum in Nürnberg.
Have fun with your hobby and greetings from Erfurt the capital city of thuringia.

Yes. It's the Echtdampfhallentreffen 2021 (translatet: livesteam hall meeting). It's the biggest meeting and longest track in a hall worldwide on the Faszination Modellbau a modellbuilder fair. Everyone can take a part of it, also everyone who is not from Germany. Hear is the official webside Faszination Modellbau: Echtdampf-Hallentreffen On Youtube thear are lots of videos when you search "Echtdampf Hallentreffen". Its very nice to drive there.
