My name is Mark and I live just outside Boston Ma.
I'd like to introduce myself and offer and knowledge
that I've picked up along the way.
I'm a life long model maker.
My dad was a tool maker and gunsmith with a extensive
shop at home. So I started very young to run the machines
and learn how to use them properly. Much to my dad's dismay
I went into engineering instead of manufacturing. While my
professional career was in engineering I've always had my own
shop and stuck very close to the trades.
Now at 63 and retired I spend all my time in the shop.

So why am I wasting everyone's time?
With Covid-19 I've become isolated as most of us.
My wish is nothing more than to promote the hobby
add some social interaction and share some of my experiences.

Here's 2 engines I've been working on the last few years.
Scratch built from billet. Still some to do but hope to have
them finished soon and move on to the next engine.
