I've had mine for about a year, and am very happy with it. It has great table travel, and with the tapered gibs and boxed column, it has good precision and rigidity for its size. If you have any thoughts of converting to CNC, it is a great mill for that. Lots of info and parts available. Like any of the smaller mills, it has it's weak points. Some people have had problems with the motor overheating. Lots of people do a belt drive conversion, and there are plans available for that. Bottom line, IMO, it's a great design, marred by the usual Chinese manufacturing issues, and overall good value for the price.
 
I've owned one for about a year and a half. I burned out the motor but Grizzly replaced it, no questions asked. The new motor seems to run hot but so far so good.

It's actually a great mill for its price. It has good x and y axis travel, a z axis DRO that's reasonably accurate and it's rigid for its size of about 275 lb. I don't care for the 0.002" incremented handwheels on the x, y axes but I've gotten used to them.

My opinion: Better than a mini mill (which I owned) and not as good as the X3 mill which I also own.

I sure wish the Ad folks knew there are 746 watts per Horse power.

110V x 3.2A = 352W

I guess this is one of those Sears Roebuck vacuum cleaner horse powers. :)

I wish the ad people knew that it is actually a 650 watt motor that comes on the machine! That info from Grizzly's site is some kind of misprint or error. The mill has plenty of power. Here's a video of it taking a .375 by.750 cut in steel with a roughing endmill. That is really pushing the mill to the limit, but it shows there is no lack of power.
