I have a small 6in bench grinder and I need a wheel to sharpen carbide. Question is what type wheel should I buy and from where? Thank you all in advanced.

...or even better: diamond. I just bought a cheap ($59) diamond wheel from CDCO for my H/F grinder and man is it nice. Cuts carbide like butter and leaves a mirror finish. Should last me forever.

best if you can grind wet or put in place an extractor either to outdoors or with a hepa filter ..... grinding carbide releases some nasties, cobalt, chromium etc, the health risk is hard metal lung disease.

A very valid point Mcgyver!
The dust generated by the grinding of carbide can pose some very real health risks.
We all seem to hate taking the time to actually read a MSDS but some should be
taken into consideration. SECO/Carboloy MSDS
