Hello Everyone,
I finally got some time to build my first engine.
After looking at several plans on John-Tom's website I decided on the twin wobbler.
Simple enough for a beginner.

The finished engine idles nicely on 3 PSI of air and will take up to 50 PSI (thats all I wanted to risk)
I chose the satin finish over a polished finished for a more industrial look.

The running engine can be seen here.

Merry Christmas to all

Wayne-

Well done! That is a great runner. Congratulations.

Great engine,

Looks like she runs really well too. Have you stopped smiling yet?

Beautiful work Wayne, the fact that is runs so well at low speed and pressure is the sign of a nice machining job. Congratulations on a fine runner and Happy Holidays. And now for the inevitable question...whats next ? :big:

Regards,

Bill

Thanks everyone. It was a lot of fun doing this one. I may build another twin like this but machine the column round and have the crankshafts hidden in the column. I'll sit down during the holidays and do some sketches of what I want the finished engine to look like and then do the plans from there.
I'm also looking forward to doing a small boiler for live steam.

Thank you for all the encouragement.

Cheers
Wayne

Apparently a very smooth runner. If this is your first, I'm sure we can expect nice things in the future.

I posted Wayne's video so we can all see it easier. Nice runner, especially going slow !!
