EN9 steel

hello people
has anyone had experience turning this grade of steel EN9 ?
i have some 95 dia' bar, when trying to face up with brazed carbide tooling
i spent half the time resharpening (probably due to me being rubbish at resharpening tooling :)

however i have glanze ccmt 060204 insert tooling that i will try next
I'm sure that this grade will be great for loco wheels

just faced a 95 dia EN9 billet usinig CCMT060402 tipped tooling
with no problem.

just thought i would let you guys know for future reference
