Guys,
To fill a pause between engines, I have just finished this Ellipsograph as an educational toy for my Granddaughter. It's to a Jan Ridders design and not having any thick Acrylic, it was made out of Polycarbonate. One huge lesson is that Polycarbonate does not "flame polish" like its Acrylic cousin. The devil's own job to polish out the mistake after it caught fire!!
A fascinating action.
