Well I decided to get moving on those bearings so I started with a simple fixture plate of tapped holes on known distances.
Then positioned my material over it and clamped it down. Next step was to do the rectangular pockets and bores to expose my tapped holes for fastening. Once fastened the outer periphery was programmed and milled.
My machine is a 2 axis Prototrak Lagun.
I'm making a few extras because I will be also building one or two complete engines as well.
Next will be flycutting to thickness. The plate I used is about .009 oversize.
