Been lurking, but guess I haven't properly intro'd myself. Retired this year as V_P Engineering Delta Scientific Corp in Palmdale, CA. Been a Live Steamer since about 1975. Primary interest is steam locomotives of the 1870's (western). Also into aircraft and cars, but too many other projects to get involved.

Have two shops, main house and the vacation house.

Main house Tormach PCNC 1100, BP J head, BP M Head (needs new home), Index 55 vertical mill, Diamond B12 horizontal mill, SB 7" shaper, SB 13" lathe, Enco 1240 lathe, table saw, Delta 14" band saw, scroll saw, etc.

Vacation house SB 9" Model A horizontal and another cabinet underdrive. Diamond 22M horizontal mill. Taiwanese knock off Rusnok vertical mill with a real Rusnok head, table saw etc.

Working on an 1.5" 4-4-0 locomotive (7.5" gauge). Also dabble with Stuart stationary engines (beam, 10V, Double 10, #4 and the triple expansion). Have a Coventry compound also. None of these are running, but some getting close.

Kids are out of college and out of the house, no more 100 miles per day commute, so time to get busy.

Welcome John. Looks like you are well equipped for model engine building. Love to see some pics when you have the time
