Time to pick some more nominee's for the Project of the Month. First three submitted will be voted on.

Thanks, Wes

I would say GailinNM's Lubo Pup Twin Diesel.

An excellent write-up, good clear photos and a nice finish to the parts - it is surely a contender!

MB's open column twin is pretty nice.
The build is here on the forum, too.

Hi As a Newbie I would like to nominate my fist built Horizontal Steam Engine as the Project of the Month.
I think I fit all your criteria.
It was built in the month and ended before the month ended.
There are seven pages of quality pictures of the progress of the build.
There are good write up explanations to go along with them.
There are compliments from many of the HMEM members.
There are two good clear videos proving that the project works.

At this stage Gails Lobo and Jack Bs Horizontal stand out.... are there a set of guidelines somewhere for nominations?

I couldnt see any and am wondering, does it have to be 'new' projects or can some be dredged up from time past etc etc... a sticky would be nice..

Good luck to all nominees.. ;D artie

How is it that a person can nominate their own engine?
Doesn't quite seem right.

Dean,
I agree. One needs to be nominated by a fellow modeler and not themselves.

Tony

IM(very)HO some rules would be:
- it's possible to nominate only 1 engine (to let other members to nominate too)
- it's better to don't nominate an engine every month (to let other members to nominate too)
- it isn't possible to nominate self own engine (easy to understand)

surely other rules may be defined, rake60 and the moderators may have something to say here
and, as always, I apologize for my rude english...

thank you

Got that right!!!!, What he just said!!!, I think???, What did he say??? O'yea, he said slow down boys and no cutt'n in line. Play the game long enough and everybody gets a turn.

Been working a lot! I'll set the poll up after work today\o/
