Crossley Vertical, Topsy Turvy Hybrid
The project was a variation of a model of the Crossley Vertical Gas engine with some ideas borrowed from an engine model by Philip Duclos, I call it the Topsy Turvy Hybrid, unlike the Philip Duclos model this one is balanced and is smooth as silk mostly due to the brass counter weighted crankshaft. Specs are:
A Hit and Miss governor
Automatic Inlet Valve (Atmospheric)
Spark ignition
RPM: 1750 (Max)
Bore: 1.04”
Stroke: 1.36”
Swept Volume: 1.16 CI, (19.13 CC)
