Thought I'd start a little different project while I'm designing my next engine. I picked this little compressor up on eBay several years ago. It's a 4 cylinder, 1 1/4" bore x 1 3/4" stroke. The flywheel / pulley is about 8" in diameter. I need to tear it down, clean it up and paint it. I think the valves are all in good shape. However I do need to replace a couple of the valve retaining plugs. The originals use a 3/8" allen wrench and one of them was thoroughly stipped out. So, I'm going to replace the exhaust side with hex head plugs. I made one and it worked fine, so 3 more to go.
