Coal Fired Boiler Plans

Hello,

Not posted here for a long time, not had much time at all in the workshop so haven't had much to post.

Was wondering if anyone had any plans for a smallish coal fired boiler, about the size to match a Stuart 10 or D10. Preferably horizontal, but I imagine vertical ones are more common...so what have you got?! ;D

Stuart had a nice vertical one to match the #1 engine. That would do well

Have you a copy of the plans for this? To power a #1 seems pretty big...

GLR do a vertical that would do the job. Its probably easier to run on gas but they also do materials for a grate if you want to run on coal or charcoal.

The GLR one was the sort of size I was looking at. Do I recall correctly that it was serialized in Model Engineer many about 10 years ago...by Stan Bray I think...
