FWIW, I'd recommend pushing that electric edge finder higher into the collet. I found on mine that the shaft is a bit flexible and can vary a bit after being used a lot.

The height setter fixture is interesting. Did it come with the edge finder, or was it shop-made?

Cut Twenty 1" long splines, .100" deep in 7 Min's, while I swept the floor.

It certainly helps me Matt.

Just like yourself, I nearly have my manual shop to a stage where I can truly work with just one good hand.

This is almost the final piece of the jigsaw, just a few more tiny details to sort out.

Got the 6" RT fixed up today also. Ended up getting a second 5C, to end the hassle of switching between the lathe and RT.
