I have just completed a Breisch duplex pump. pump. It runs and pumps fine on air. However on steam it doesn't run. Steam just goes right through. I have lapped the slide valve in and used vitron o rings backed with teflon for piston rings. How can I tell if it is leaking past the valve or rings or is something else going on?
