I promised to post some pics of my cnc mill conversion so here you go ;D

feel free to ask any questions :) the mill is a Bernardo KF25, it's controlled by USBCNC with most parts from damencnc, it still has the stock spindles but it's accurate at 1/1000th of a millimeter, I got the materials for a 4th rotating axis but didn't find the time yet to machine it.

A mill that's accurate to a micron. Frankly, that's hard to believe. How did you measure such precision?
 
I don't use ballscrews yet, the original trapezium spindles are used, ballscrews is a future plan since I need to modify a hell lot on the machine before they'll fit ;)
