Celsoari,

Very elegant! nicely done.

I wonder if some one has or knows of a slick tool to cut a chamfer on round or hex stock in the lathe??

I've done it in a few ways including a lathe file but not satisfied there isn't a slicker way to do it that I have not stumbled on

This works well for me on the lathe.
A parting tool with 45 degs. ground on both sides.

The blade in that photo is labeled 5/32" and measures .150" and is "T" shaped. Bottom leg of the "T" is 1/8". I have been using it for years, even cuts stainless without problems.

I was going to ask about adjustability for chamfer size and then saw the adjustment slots.
If you only have 1 piece to do with the smaller chamfer, it may be easier to tape a shim to 2 sides of the work to space it away from the wheel rather than readjusting the work table. Just a thought.

I really like it !!! It looks very stout.
