Hello everybody! I just happened to find the site while searching for info on the kitchen sink engine.. Anyway, I am a senior designer, been doing this for about 25 years now. I recently bought an Atlas TH54 lathe for hobby use and am getting it up & running now. My hobby is collecting & restoring of antique gas engines (hit & miss, flywheel engines, etc) and related machinery. Water pumps seem to follow me home too! ha Anyway, am in the Sioux City, Iowa vicinity. Anybody else?

I am located near Des Moines. We have an antique engine and tractor group around here, but they no longer put on a yearly show. I'm missing that activity each year. I have been close to owning some full-sized hit and miss engines a few times, but lack of room and future downsizing has me trying to build smaller things.
I have lost the link, but there is a collectors group for (water) Pump Jacks.
