Great looking engine!! I applaud your use of off the shelf rings. Honda makes some approx 1 3/8" rings that include a nice looking oil control ring. I only wish they came in smaller sizes.

What is the wall thickness of the cylinder liner? For my 2VD5 I did not dare to go under 3 mm (1/8").

Looking good and anticipating videos of the engine running! I wonder if the black lead is an engine ground? I've read that lack of a ground kills some CDI units, wipes out the Hall sensor?? Comments?
