I have been doing some looking around for turnkey CNC machines, but the price is awful large to get started with. I am looking for a small to medium sized machine.
In my searching I am leaning more and more to the 'conversion' side of things. I want to get up and running quickly, and found a couple kits that should make things easier.
These are to convert the X3.
Here is the machine

Here is the Hardware kit. There are a coupel to choose from, I would like to go with the ballscrew setup for $589, although there is a premium ballscrew setup for much more. Is the premium that much better?

Here is the electronics kit.

So, other than software and a computer, what els am I going to need to buy/make? Or is this everything I need.
This appears to be a pretty decent deal, when compared to the Turnkey versions of the X3.
