On 11/11/2022 I started to build a 1/3rd Scale Case Baler to run on my 1/3rd Scale Case Steam Engine. I just doubled the size of the parts from my 1/6th Scale John Deere baler that I built in 2009.

I will attempt to post a step by step build process.

I found an old John Deere cast iron wheel on eBay, cleaned it up to make a nice 12" Flywheel.
Small Flywheel was made from an old steel wheel cart.

Some very nice work there. I built one years ago (1" scale) for my 65 Case traction engine.

Hey, that looks like my DoAll work bench in post #4. 😂

Beautiful work!

How did you lay out the sheet metal tray? I see you have the flat pattern in CAD, did you just do the bend calcs the old school way with math? It turned out beautifully (As the rest of the baler).

A really nice project! Cozy shop...

(Looking forward to the Case working it....)

The flat blank was calculated & then drawn in AutoCad. CNC machined the perimeter with scores cut 1/3rd material thickness deep where the bends are. Folds up nice.

Everything in my shop with a flat surface becomes a work bench. It's a DoAll Metal Master that I completely restored several years ago.
Putting the all in DoAll since 1941 in my case. I bought my ML 16 as a project as it was 550v 3 phase. Turned out, in reality, to be 220v 3 phase so I just pressed it into service as is. Amazing tool, just love it. Need to make a sled for it and I'd like to get a work light for it.

Any thread for your resto ?
